This is the rough outline for the Far Horizons ship and its mission. I'm kinda overdoing the delta V, but I haven't used the Outer Planets mod before so I want to be safe. The ship will be able to recycle and produce a lot of resources, but we will need to bring along enough for redundancies, setup and so forth.

The Return?
Its been 4 years since my last few projects on this site, and 3 years since I stopped using dA as much due to losing interest and also my studies, then later because it seemed NSFW and fetish content seemed be all the site was known for. I have continued putting some of my space and spaceflight, and strategy related content up in other places, such as Instagram, but having recently refound my love for the game KSP and having sunk a lot of hours into the game recently, I'm considering a return to the site. Im hoping to let the creative juices flow with a new series aftetr all this time, itll be fun to see the difference in style and quality compared to the stuff I did when i was a teenager. I'm also learning some basic stuff for putting youtube vidoes together. Im hoping some of my old friends are still around, let me know if I should come back and how the site is these days. Cheers, your old bud Strato.
The Shit-Fest That is Brexit
This is a complicated matter. It isnt that people are ignorant, or that British people are strange, no. Im British, and bloody proud of it no matter what happens to our glorious island, which has been the centre of Humanity for centuries.
But, at the simplest level, here's what happened.
David Cameron just gambled away the UK's future. Why? He promised to hold an EU referendum in order to win over hard-right Conservative MPs and win back UKIP votes during the 2015 election, and then he went ahead with a quick referendum, leaving no time for serious debate and public education. The short time frame, combined with relentless and biased Murdoc
You've Probably Heard This A Thousand Times...
...but im just so busy right now! Sorry people, barely any time to really go through stuff on dA, plus its hard not to go on this site anymore without seeing some weird stuff. Anyways, hopefully stuff will be a little less hectic in a few months.
A New PC for a New Year
Where have I been? Why so inactive stratocracy? Well, my new PC arrived. I spent £690 (original price was £900, but the sales were on) of my own hard-earned cash and yes it was worth it. KSP runs brilliantly (though the game still needs some optimisation, and the 64-bit version is still an absolute buggy hellscape), and SpaceEngine, which used to lag the hell out of my old machine (It averaged 20fps most sessions, and got down to 5 when loading stuff in), runs at a smooth 60fps with resolution and graphics cranked to the max. Awesome.
Cities Skylines runs pretty well but the graphics can really slow down the game, so I have them on
